The FBY Series are large v-shape closed loop dry type fluid coolers available in an array of sizes for process cooling applications. These Big-V units are equipped with 31.5″ (800mm) high-velocity and high-efficiency fans. A closed-circuit configuration saves both water and energy. It eliminates corrosion and scaling, as well as water treatment costs.

Big-Vs are extremely robust and reliable. They are specifically designed to withstand severe weather conditions, including heavy snow and high winds. Their V-shape configuration allows for a slightly smaller footprint.

Units are individually designed for specific jobs. Each unit includes a control box and a wiring diagram that meets the customer’s requirements. The wiring diagram displays all the components with all the protections and the necessary controls. The unit can be supplied with mechanical or electronic controls. Fan cycling is controlled by either an ambient thermostats, an electronic temperature controller or by an optional Guardian+ RC-F Fluid Cooler & Pump Package controller.

These units are designed to cool glycol, oil or any other fluid that is not corrosive to copper and will not let the leaving air temperature exceed 140°F (60°C).
