The FLD Series are closed-loop, dry-type fluid coolers available in an array of sizes for process cooling applications. These industrial models are equipped with standard-efficiency fans. A closed-circuit configuration saves both water and energy. It eliminates corrosion and scaling, as well as water treatment costs.
These machines are extremely robust and reliable. They are specifically designed to withstand severe weather conditions, including heavy snow and high winds. Their low, horizontal profile is optimal for building design integration.
Each fluid cooler can be individually designed for a specific job. Each unit includes a control box and a wiring diagram that meets the customer’s requirements. The wiring diagram displays all the components with all the protections and the necessary controls. The unit can be supplied with mechanical or electronic controls. Fan cycling is controlled by either an ambient thermostat, an electronic temperature controller or by an optional Guardian+ RC-F Fluid Cooler & Pump Package controller.
These units are designed to cool glycol, oil or any other fluid that is not corrosive to copper and will not let the leaving air temperature exceed 140°F (60°C).
